Can i add logo image in this theme if yes then can you pleas tell me how i can do so?

Yes, it is possible to add an image into this theme. I assume you want to replace the blog name (and possibly the blog info) with an image. If so the image should not be greater in height than 55pixels and should have a background colour of #e4f2fd.

To add the image to your site you need to go to design > Theme Editor > header.php .. and look for these 2 lines of code

<h1><a href=”<?php bloginfo(’url’); ?>/” rel=”nofollow”><?php bloginfo(’name’); ?></a></h1>
<h2 id=”infostyle” style=”margin-top:-4px;”><?php bloginfo(’description’); ?></h2>

and replace them with

<h1><a href=”<?php bloginfo(’url’); ?>/” rel=”nofollow”><img src=”image-url” style=”border:0;” alt=”Logo”></a></h1>

I have a problem with the search. The “Latest Post” won’t go away so it will always show even when you search for something. I understand that it shows in the normal view but not when you do a search, or what do you think?

Apart from that I think it is a great theme

a really sleek theme, I like it a lot.
just wondering, it would be great if you could somehow add javascript tabs on the sidebar to display ‘recent comments’ or perhaps ‘recent posts’.
I’m sure it would be the next free premium wp theme

Nicely done. WP should consider making this their own default theme. I have added it to my collection.

This may be the theme I’ve been looking for that I can wrap around a new WP/Mozilla tech/geek site I’m currently building. One question though…

What would be the best way to add page navigation to single post pages? Kind of a “must have” for me. Usually I use the page navigation code from the “Default” theme for themes without it but if you have a better suggestion…? Great theme, BTW!

The “WordPress.com Stats” and “Google Analyticator” plugins does not work with your theme. And you does not have any -tag in your footer. As a matter of fact, I can not find any ending body tag at all.

Word Press’d has an automated codex, wordpress’s default along the top header just under the name and site caption. Any new pages are automatically added to there. (Get back to me if I’ve misunderstood)

As for ths sidebar error.. I’m not completely sure.. I did cross check for browser compatability but I’ll re-check it in a moment..

Please look out for the version update and download and test it on your site. I’ll be uploading it in just a few minutes when I’ve written some installation instructions. I hope this will solve your problems.

v0.2 covers fixes for all known errors memtioned in the comments and a few I found while browsing. It is also xhtml compliant

Version 0.2 Is now available for download..

And for russian I double checked the browser compatibility, its good as far as I can tell. Few improved features, xhtml compliance and fixed an error with wordpress stats plugin.

I uploaded and translated ver 0.2 and tested in IE 7, Firefox 2 in Windows XP and Firefox 2 in Ubuntu Hardy. Sidebar sits now where it supposed to be, neatly on the right side, both in Firefox and Windows. Thank you.

1 more issue came up. A very small one but quite uncomfortable. If I sort the posts by tags, then the latest Post would be ALWAYS on the top.

Just wanted to let you know.

Also if you click on the feed icon, it leads you to 404 page (I had to manually define the url in mine to get rid of this error)

Overall, I’m very happy with it so far.

I’m not 100% sure what your trying to say but you could say the theme is unoriginal as I’ve taken much of the original Wordpress Admin design. I myself love the admin theme and I thought it would be nice to convert it to a WP theme

Great theme Jamie, really great. Just 2 things. Is it possible to use Wavatars with Your theme instead of default gravatar avatar? Lately I found it quite entertaining for ppl who did not register
And second what about Word Press’d in few other colours? Propably it is quite simple to change the colour scheme but I’m such a noob in this all web codes

Really like it and perfect for my PressWeb blog.
Small future request: Maybe you can build in a 404 and an archivepage. I made one myself and in combination with WP-Cumulus it’s actually fun to use the archives

As for the 404.php I’ll look into that as soon as I get some free time, the use of the “redirection” plug-in may be very handy for catching all your 404’s and redirecting them to the correct page.

Hi Jamie, I have had major troubles with my hosting company. (>1wk down) So i moved everything to a new host. It consumed a lot of time. Now my (WordPress’d) site is up and running again. About the 404 page: I’ve made a 404 page in the theme section and a rule in the htaccess file towards the same 404 page. I think it will catch everything now. The archives page is also ready. I could use some info from the codex site, (although the codex-page seems to be a bit outdated). Anyway thanks for the useful info.

While my site was moving, I have translated WordPress’d into Dutch. I can send you the translated theme if you want. It’s also available at PressWeb.

Yet a small, minor remark
In footer.php there’s missing a close p-tag after Powered by WordPress and a close div is at the wrong place. (should be after php wp_footer) Than will WordPress’d validate again.

I do usually go for eyecandy while designing a theme but for Word Press’d I went for simplicity. I theme is simple and because of this has very quick loading times. Look out for more theme from b2l we have a few lined up of which one may be the current b2l design!

From what you have posted I seems as if you are replacing something with the same thing.

Check this comment for a walk through on how to add an image in place of the text.

Are you sure you have the latest version?

Try the download again, THere was a footer error but that was fixed in version 0.2. Get back to me either way.

yes. the error continues. i’ve 0.4 version of the theme and wp 2.6.2 translate into spanish. other weblogs in spanish are ok!!!! dont know whats wrong…maybe the widgets???
