Blog2Life is excited to announce that Word Press’d has now reached it’s next milestone and received over 1000 downloads!
I’d like to say a short thanks to all those that have actively helped in the theme design and coding by contributing idea’s and new suggestions to help improve the theme. (I couldn’t have done it with out you!)
At the same time I would like to announce the forthcoming of the next version in the series
Version 0.5
Although this work is in progress I cannot speicfy a time period as life has been busy recently and there is much work to do and other things that I need to catch up with (I’ve just had an exam.. so time to relax is nice at the moment).
If you have any more bright idea’s left that you think we could add into the theme to make it that bit better then this is the place to post them. I’ll try to get all the requests that I think would benefit all users into the theme.
Word Press’d Dedicated Blog
Keep an eye out for the next phase of Word Press’d.. I will be launching a blog dedicated to helping you use and customise Word Press’d with some posts explaining all the features and other posts on how to customise area’s commonly asked. I will be launching this over the next week and hope to spark up some extra interest in the theme.
On a final note I’d like to say an extra thanks to those advertising the theme on their websites!

Congratulations 
I am currently trying to figure out a way to have a thumbnail preview to add to older post to give it a “gallery” effect…
Anyone know a good plugin?
To try and explain
I use the latest post as the top post with an image or video included, then for the older post, I “cut” it so only the first few lines of the post appear… I would like to have a little thumbnail included above the cut while not interfering with the image being full size once the post is opened…

Congrats man. I have been using Word Press’d for over three months now and I love it. It is a nice clean design and fits my website perfectly. I hope you don’t mind but I have tinkered with the theme a little. I’ve added the “tags” feature for single posts and currently working on integrating a “featured post” at the top.

You’ve made my day.. its great to hear you’ve been using the theme for so long. I see the wp-cumulus plugin on your single posts and in the red it looks just brilliant.
As for the featured post section do keep my informed if you get it up and running I may then be able to take it on for another update release!

Not a problem. Well since I left the last comment I have added a few more features. For one I added the WP Page Numbers plugin so it makes it a lot easier to navigate to the older pages.
Secondly I added the flash tag widget in the sidebar and that has been giving me great feedback. I still have not finished the featured post thing, but I hope to do that soon. Maybe even added a custom field to the front page so my blog looks a little more organized.
