I’ve been working on this theme for a while and I hope to release this theme via wordpress.org by around christmas.
For wordmimic I have aimed to try and take the outlay of wordpress.org and try to implement that onto the wordpress framework. It’s certainly not been an easy task but after lots of thinking I hope you like the look of the almost finalised project.

But just before you do there are a few things you should know:
- The main image on the index can be any size and any image easyily changed by using the custom field “image” and placing the image url in the value box.
- All the middle and right index columns are widgetised.

looks pretty good, but in the single post i must agree with Rarst. The tabbed widget looks good. Maybe just put the latest post under the header and the post title be a bit above the content.

its looking awesome i am sure it gona give you more exposure and will be more famous than wordpress’d i think the single page looks awesome rss links and icons must remain there the best more you can do is to take the post title under the blue horizontal area and equipe under header space with 486×60 px adsense banner (text or image then it will look more functional. other than that its awesome i really like it.
and put the edit link beside “2 comments” link.
nice main page, but the single page, agree with Rarst and Omar, the title is too disconnected from the post, especially the post date under the post title which is on the left side, looks weird. if the big rss icon is not preferred by users, then why not just put the big rss icon under sidebar as widget, users can choose to remain it or remove it, right ? I don’t agree with MOin where the edit link, actually it doesn’t bother much because the edit links only you can see it, not the your blog visitors, but if Jamie wanted to relocated to be next to the comments, it’s not a bad thing, both will do 
I have to say that I really like the single post page, but not a huge fan of the index page.
I prefer my index page the traditional way….
And any chance for a second sidebar?
I like the idea and I can see you get a lot of ques from Wordpress.org but I think the header needs a little work. I think somethign a little more original would be great. Other than that I would be interested in using this theme. As I have fell in love with your Wordpress’d theme and cannot find one I like more than it.
Looks good but the I prefer to have the tab widget on the home page as well. using your Wordpess’d at the moment and the tab widget is what my visitors love. Cheers!

Thanks everyone for giving so much feedback. Over the last week I’ve been editing the theme nicely and I think its almost there. Check the latest update for new screenies and again thanks for all the feedback I couldn’t have done it without you guys!
I like home page. Good layout, calm clean looks.
On single post page I don’t like horizontal area undear header. Heading is absolutely disconnected from post and RSS icon overwhelms (too much).
